Our location is super close to the city center of Utrecht, as well as Houten and Nieuwegein. Nestled amidst meadows and fruit trees, and surrounded by a beautiful garden with old trees, colorful flowers, and a herb garden. In mid-July 2023, we embarked on the adventure of owning our own B&B. We are committed to ensuring that you have a fantastic and unforgettable stay with us.

Overnight
Our guests enjoy staying here from both a business and tourist perspective. Our B&B is conveniently located near major convention centers such as Jaarbeurs and Expo, educational institutions, and it's also beloved by people who want to avoid long hours of traffic on their way home. Our guests appreciate our luxurious apartments, they feel at home and love to come back.
Moreover, our B&B is frequently visited by guests who want to explore the surroundings, and rightfully so. The area around Borneman Buitenhof is beautiful! From Borneman Buitenhof, the city of Utrecht is just a 10-minute bike ride away. Additionally, Borneman Buitenhof is close to the city beach Down Under (2 minutes walk), and the charming old village centers of Houten, Vreeswijk, Vianen, and Wijk bij Duurstede are just a stone's throw away. Cycling along the famous fort route or Lek-dijk, boating on the Kromme Rijn; there are stunning castles like Kasteel Heemstede and Kasteel de Haar.
You can go hiking, for example, on the heathlands near Zeist or in Amelisweerd/Rijnauwen, and our location is right in the middle of the cycling network in the Kromme Rijn area. The Utrechtse Heuvelrug (Utrecht Hill Ridge) is also easily accessible. These are just a few of the many possibilities in the area! A bit further in the vicinity, Amsterdam, for example, is only a 25-minute drive away (you can park inexpensively at Amsterdam Arena and then take a short train ride). The same goes for Rotterdam, The Hague, and Den Bosch. Everything is within reach from Borneman Buitenhof.

As mentioned before, our location is also very suitable for meetings, workshops, and other small events. Additionally, Borneman Buitenhof has been used several times as a (wedding) photoshoot location and as a film location. The film "Peen & Loof" was shot here as part of the Utrecht Film Festival.
We strive to operate as consciously as possible. The numerous solar panels ensure an energy-neutral situation. For watering our large garden, we use surface water. Whenever possible, we use fruits, nuts, and eggs from our own garden.
